This year\u2019s edition is titled \u201cResearch in times of crisis\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>2020 was one of the most difficult years in the recent past. Nonetheless, MCAA sees also positive aspects: people have continued working even in hard and risky situations, we have helped our relatives, friends and neighbours. This is why we can say: <em>Crises bring people together<\/em>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As for research, we can celebrate the fastest path to the production of a vaccine ever, a stronger cooperation among labs around the world, and the affirmation of the open access principles in academia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The annual conference is <strong>the occasion to reflect on the impact of the Covid-19 outbreak on society and on research<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.eventbrite.co.uk\/e\/2021-mcaa-annual-conference-tickets-137731521689\">Registration<\/a> to the conference is already open.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The conference is free for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mariecuriealumni.eu\/mcaa-learning\">MCAA Learning Subscribers<\/a>, MCAA Members pay a fee of 15 &#8211; 20 \u20ac, and external attendees pay a ticket of 25 &#8211; 50 \u20ac.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Early Bird Registration <\/strong>Deadline is on Monday <strong>15 February<\/strong> 2021, while <strong>Regular Registration<\/strong> ends on Monday <strong>1 March<\/strong> 2021.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Marie Curie Alumni Association will organise its annual conference on 5-7 March 2021.
