The University of Verona has published the call for applications for the 35<\/strong>th<\/strong><\/sup> cycle of the Doctoral programme<\/strong> (2019 to 2022). Totally 135 positions are available, thereof 114 with a fellowship<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The call is open to applicants  of any  age and  nationality with a Laurea  Specialistica \/Magistrale<\/em> or  a Laurea<\/em> (of  the  old  system before Reform  no.  509\/1999) issued by an Italian University, or an equivalent-level foreign degree. Candidates with a foreign Master\u2019s degree<\/strong> (e.g. MSc or MA) that would grant them access to PhD programmes in the country where the degree was conferred are entitled to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 35th<\/sup> cycle of PhD programmes officially begins on 1<\/strong>st<\/strong><\/sup> October 2019<\/strong>. PhD programmes last three years, except for the Joint PhD programme in Arts and Archaeology and the PhD Programme in Economics and Management whose duration is four years, and end with the defence of the doctoral thesis, which must take place by the month of May of the solar year after the conclusion of the PhD programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The application must\nbe submitted online using the ESSE3 system<\/a> by\nFriday 21 June 2019 at noon<\/strong>. At the same date and time the application\nwith all annexes must be sent to phd.selection@ateneo.univr.it<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The call<\/a>\nis available on the website of the University of Verona. It includes all eligibility\nconditions as well as the admission procedures and the detailed programme of\nthe PhD programmes. Further\ninformation about the admission to the PhD Programmes<\/a>   is also\navailable of the website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Remark<\/strong>: Many people ask for\ninformation about future INVITE Call for application. The project INVITE had just\n one call for applications, which closed on\n16th<\/sup> April 2018. No further INVITE Call for applications are\nscheduled.
