The project INVITE last five years, from 1st October 2017 to 30 September 2022.
Within this time span, the INVITE fellowships will last three years, from 1st October 2018 to 30 September 2021.

- 1/10/2017: Start date of INVITE project
- 15/10/2017: Pre-announcement of the call
- 15/1/2018: Publication of the call
- 16/4/2018: Deadline of the call
- 4/07/2018: Approval of the final ranking lists and communication to applicants
- 30/09/2018: Enrolment procedure closes
- 1/10/2018: Start of the INVITE fellowship
- 30/9/2021: End of the INVITE fellowship
- Spring 2022: PhD discussion and PhD award
- 30/9/2022: End date of INVITE project
