The Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) has launched the “My Super Science Heroes” book collection for children between 6 and 9 years old.

Inspiring budding researchers

This publishing project aims at inspiring children with awe about the pursuit of knowledge. The books will present researchers who have made great contributions to society.

They are depicted as superheroes fighting against ignorance. The fictional characters use their very human superpowers to solve problems, challenge the status quo, and eventually make important discoveries.

The superheroes promote a positive message and invite children to follow their curiosity, to do not give up upon failure, and to be critical about ignorance and superficiality.

The first book is dedicated to Marie Skłodowska-Curie

This first book in the collection is dedicated to Marie Skłodowska-Curie, it could not be otherwise.

Readers will learn about Marie Curie’s many accomplishments, the power of persistence, and will feel empowered to become science superheroes themselves.
