How to improve EU policies in the fight against cancer News

On 18 and 19 March 2021, the Marie Sklodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Units of the Research Executive Agency (REA), in collaboration with the Commission’s Directorate General Education, Youth, Sport and Culture (DG EAC), organises the virtual MSCA Cluster event on cancer research and innovation.

Cancer is a top priority of the European Commission and it is one of the research and innovation missions under the Horizon Europe framework programme. Several national and international research activities are paving the way for a joint approach to fighting cancer in Europe.

A select number of MSCA promising cancer research projects have been invited to this online event to share their results and exchange ideas on how the EU can improve its various policies in the fight against cancer.

The event will offer a discussion occasion on:

  • Diagnostics support to clinicians
  • Drug development and therapy
  • Immunotherapy
  • Prevention and Personalized medicine
  • Quality of life of patients and survivors.

The agenda is available on the event website.

The participation to the event is free of charge. Registration is mandatory to be able to attend. Upon registration, you will receive more information on how to access the event.
