After 3 years of PhD thesis under the INVITE program proposed within the European Union’s Horizon 2020, I’m glad to make a summary of this enriching experience.

The INVITE program offered to all our 14 PhD candidates of different scientific disciplines a unique experience with multidisciplinary and international approach. The meta-disciplinary training and research programme proposed to each of the PhD candidates offered a real support to complete our specific research project.

In fact, I’m now really satisfied of the work achieved and from its contribution to the scientific community. The different steps originally planned for this research project have been reached despite the pandemic crisis happened during this project.

Moreover, this research project has been successfully carried out thanks to the elaboration of a co-tutorship thesis with the University Claude Bernard of Lyon (France) and to the collaboration with different scientific research team from the University of Verona and from the University of Lyon (France).

In conclusion, the INVITE program was for me a wonderful scientific and human experience, allowing me to acquire several multidisciplinary knowledges while opening my worldview.

My future perspectives are focused on looking at a post-doctoral position in the same field of my PhD research project, in order to extend my scientific knowledge.
