The PhD course aims at acquiring theoretical and methodological/practical expertise in various research fields within the domains of Neuroscience, Physiological, Cognitive, and Clinical sciences.
The students will acquire specific knowledge and expertise by being involved in specific experimental projects using the most advanced techniques of molecular, cellular, physiological, genetic and cognitive research applied to various experimental models including a specific training on new diagnostic, laboratory and neuroimaging tools and techniques. They will be involved in clinical and epidemiological studies using the most advanced techniques in the field of clinical trials (phase III studies) and observational epidemiological studies (phase IV studies) including specific training and involvement on the new meta-analytical tools that are available to analyse the results of experimental and observational studies.

- Basic and Clinical Neuroscience
- Cellular and Molecular Neurobiology and Neuropathology
- Clinical and Biological Psychiatry
- Cognition, Behavior and the Underlying Neural Mechanisms
- Communication in Healthcare
- Human Movement and Sport Science in Health and Disease
- Neuropsychopharmacology
